I love JJ but so often he passes up a wide-open 8-10 ft shot on his way to the basket, drives right into traffic and ends up getting stripped or stuffed. Why is Jefferson going inside there

A cylinder is round. Unnecessary or not has no bearing on that call.
It was a review for cylinder not for flagrant. But yet I agree on the testThat cylinder call still irritates the **** out of me. Cryer clearly steps into Nate’s cylinder. They don’t call it on the floor. Review for a flagrant and decide to make something out of nothing. I’m usually pretty pro ref on here and I understand missed calls. But going to the monitor and deciding to assert yourself like that is horse****
Of course we do. Get off it. Cryer headhunted and got off with a technicality. Good for him.Do you know what the cylinder is? Serious question. It doesn’t seem like a lot on here understand it.
Would be great to smash K. Sampson in the face with a colander.Several dozen first half colander fouls just guarding Milan.
It is. He said Heise didn't move, the problem is, Heise does move.
I don't like the call, I've said it already. But it is correct.
Is everything people say about the officials being poor require a "dumb" response from you isuno1fan? Go over to the coolant board and pretend you're ZRF if that's the case.
Watch the replay and count how many dozen (maybe hundreds?) of cylinder fouls Houston committed on Milan.
If Heise's face fouled Cryer, the first half was the worst officiated half of basketball history.
Do you have specific times? I'd love to know exactly to what you are referring.
So. I don't think you asnwered his question. Let's say someone has legal guarding position and the offensive player takes a dribble into their space and then procedes to throw an elbow into the defenders face. Still cylinder? Please make the call. No, you are entitled to the space in front of you. And thats not what happened. He just ripped his arms through to get the ball on his strong side.
I know what a bad call is, but I also know how to read, so I know that was not a bad call. If you would like to read the rules to become more acquainted with what you can or can't do in basketball, there is a free rulebook you can download from the NCAA website.
You are just parroting Jay Bilas, and he was wrong. A player can crowd them like Heise did, but if there is contact, its a foul on them.
I never saw them hang their head. The fans were pissed off. But that doesn't mean anything.ISU still pulled within 1 point AFTER the stupid cylinder violation. I would have liked to see ISU continue to pressure their guards and deny Cryer the ball. We relaxed too much defensively and Cryer, Uzan and Sharp made us pay. We also missed some FTs late and turned the ball over on offense. You can’t hang your head about the refs (not saying the players did that) when the game is still on the line.
You make it sound like it's cut and dry. It is not.
Yeah, Heise actually moved back when he pivoted giving him more room and Cryer still threw the elbow. He shuffles his feet slightly but he clearly doesn't move into any cylinder of space at all.
I'm pretty sure you're wrong. You're saying a defender can't even move their feet, they have to be a statue? We aren't talking about taking a charge.
