Good job outta you and your son!!!

My father always taught me to notice the things that look out of place and be aware of my surroundings. Its helped me and others a couple times...a great lessons to teach ones you love. Sounds like you taught your son some great life lessons too!

In these tough economic times, I think the true victims here are the guys that got arrested. Sure they stole from your son, but look at their side of it. One day, when your son grows up, he may regret his choices.

I bet I can guess who you voted for in the last election... Of course, I won't name names because that kind of discussion belongs in the cave.

This thread is turning sour. I applaud your son and you. Wish more would jump into action this way.

You've been called out 4 times now....you might want to clarify what you're trying to say. Just sayin.

Please tell me your kidding. It's one thing if they threw a punch to get $11 or something, but they pulled a gun.

This has nothing to do with religion in my opinion. Call me crazy, but if it were me, I would've have involved the police. Sure, I would've tracked them down the same as this kid did, but then I would've handed out my own five-fingered form of justice. Heck the criminals would probably have learned more from that in the long run anyway.

Yeah, you throw the punch and they end your life. Well spent there my friend.

This has nothing to do with religion in my opinion. I just think it's sad that these kids lives will be ruined over $11 in these tough times. I think a good talking to would've been more in order. Peaceful times call for drastic measures.

Are you serious? The amount of money doesn't matter here - it all would have been stolen regardless of the amount. The key thing here is that the young man kept his cool, and now these goons are at county. I'm almost 30 years old, and I can't say that I would react the same way.

Its a good thing his son followed them and called the cops. If they'll rob a kid in broad daylight, then more than likely they'd breakin to someones home. Maybe just maybe his kid gave them a gift by being sent to jail rather then ending up with a bullet in the head.
