You can work on it as much as you want in practice, but some players just choke when it comes time to execute.
Agreed on the recruiting failures of the head coach.

Who cares? He makes horrible decisions and turns into a ball hog when it matters.
Has Steve Prohm beat Baylor on the road, ever? I can’t for the life of me remember the last time we beat them in Waco.

On the road down the stretch in college hoops when the home team starts shooting fts every possession the only recipe is hit 3s.
You're not going to keep pace with that unless you make lots of consecutive 2pt shots.
Whew.....Thank God for Bolton!! 2 wins...
It is Prohms fault because he didnt recruit a PG so ******* stupid.
Did you not watch the last 6 minutes? You know, when it mattered? 2 points, 1 rebound, 3 turnovers (not counting the jump pass he left Solomon on an island with) and was 0-2 (both misses were contested layups).
He was atrocious down the stretch.
Nope, 0-6 down there. The Clyburn team was the last team to win in Waco.Has Steve Prohm beat Baylor on the road, ever? I can’t for the life of me remember the last time we beat them in Waco.
Bolton left Penn State because he didn't like to be coached on shot selection and defense.Bolton is the main reason we are in these games and main reason we lose each close game. He just doesn't have the same game at the end of each half. I mean a good coach would coach him out of that or not put him in that position.
0-19 is worse

you’re right... when the games are on the line this year we should just take the ball completely out of our best scorers hands.
One point guard who everyone knew would be gone after last year? Great work Prohm. What just once every 4 years he gets to recruit 1 position? Is that why we only have 1 legit big man?He did recruit a pg. He just happens to be playing in Sacramento this season.
That's exactly why he left - didn't like being pulled after taking bad shots.im sure that’s exactly what he was thinking when he decided to leave....
The players didn’t have a lot of help in last five minutes on getting into good sets. Waiting until 8 seconds left on the clock to start an action with a shooting guard playing point isn’t usually going to produce great results.Yea how about you don’t put words into my mouth. Just because you hate Prohm doesn’t mean the players didn’t choke this one away
