only former coach I would want back is Larry! Be a 180 from this team!
What is LE doing these days?

It's been a brutal season, but the fact that we are still living rent free with kusports.com's resident psychopath is still good for a laugh:

These last three days have been the best sports days of 2021 for me. As the world's biggest Iowa State hater, I am so proud of the Jayhawks for defeating the Cry-Clowns twice in crushing fashion. The win in Lawrence was a work of art, but the win in Ames was more satisfying, for two reasons:
1) After spending most of the first half giving ISU false hope of getting a victory, we then proceeded to rip their hearts out and show them to them the rest of the way.
2) As someone who lives in Iowa and has some neighbors and a brother-in-law who are Cry-Clown fans, I've got bragging rights on them in basketball until next winter!
Watching Iowa State stumble and bumble through this season gives me a deep sense of schadenfreude. I hope they lose the rest of their games and finish winless in Big 12 play.
ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK! SCREW ISU!"
this makes no sense, apathy set in for most months ago, if anyones hearts were ripped out because of the last 2 games boy oh boy bless that poor soul
ohio st when they hit the 3pt at the buzzer and we got screwed on the charge that was a heart rip
u have to be emotionally invested to get ur heart ripped out
Well I wonder what Pollards silence means. If he was set on having Phrom back, this would be a good time to tell everyone stop with the coaching change scuttle. His silence tells me he's open to a change.
I hope he's open, but JP's silence doesn't mean much to me at this time. Let see if he says anything the week after the season is over.
I don't recall, but did JP say anything about DM or PR's performance prior to firing them?
He’s got to be open to a change. The loss of season tickets will be more than buyout.I hope he's open, but JP's silence doesn't mean much to me at this time. Let see if he says anything the week after the season is over.

Winning “conference record”. Read my post.
I read your post........just as I read your previous post. So what. He didn't take over much revered program......slip a little then get them to the final four. He took over Loyola.
Think of it this way......T.J. takes over next year and does exactly what Porter did at Loyola....you know, a couple of losing seasons getting on his feet, a 24-13 season, another losing season, a decent year then a final four run .You going to say...."yeah, the final four is great and all.....but T.J. had an overall losing record before that so I'm not sure he is any good? Or you going to say......"See, I just knew if we had the patience, give T.J. the time he would get the job done"?
I think everyone and their brother on this site knows the answer to that.
You think I’m a T.J. guy but I’m not. I would be fine with him but I would also be okay with Craig Smith, Medved, DeVries, Nagy, Keller and Golding if we go the route of mid-major head coaches.
You know what none of the guys on that list did; get fired at a mid-major job.
Check out every coach in a Power 5 job. These don’t have “fired from a mid-major job” on their resume. Elite coaches (and that is what is needed in the Big 12) don’t get fired at a mid-major. And if Moser is such a coaching stud then why hasn’t anyone hired him in the last 4 years.
I’m a Dana Altman guy. Go pay him 3.3 million and assure that your program
Will be in the NCAA Tournament 8 out of the next 11 years.
Maybe he is...but Carol isn't.I don't think we would beg him to come back. But maybe he's quite interested in coming back to Ames on his own accord with no begging needed.
If he comes with a Tinsley, great. Otherwise, no.only former coach I would want back is Larry! Be a 180 from this team!
Maybe he is...but Carol isn't.
She tell you that?Maybe he is...but Carol isn't.
Hire Dustin Hogue as an assistant. Whoever doesn't rebound in practice gets karate kicked. As an assistant, Fiser probably could have done quite a bit imrpoving the mental and physical toughness for the team. Prohm just doesn't seem to have a handle on how to instill that.
We need a bold move here. Hoiberg should be the first call. Go big and go after him hard.
Nobody actually wants to coach Nebraska. He may not want to come back to Ames at this point. If so, we move on. But it’s where we should start.
Even if this happened (it won’t), his buyout is massive - something like $10 million he would owe Nebraska is he left.
