They’re going to have to dig deep. They’ll be lucky if they can get a coach with HC experience to install a system and a culture. Neal Brown at Troy would be a huge get for them if they could pull it off.

I didn’t say he he was a great coach. Considering what he had to work with, winning three games was improvement.
From the game I watched today, this would be the stupidest move since TT fired MIke Leach. My thoughts after the game was that Kansas is vastly improved over a couple of years ago. I thought "If Kansas doesn't get impatient, they may have a decent team in 2-3 more years." They didn't have lots of penalties, They weren't playing out of position. It's not like they lost to a horrible team. We beat West Virginia worse than that. They're not firing their coach. One of the reasons we were able to get Campbell was because our fans have supported the program through some pretty sucky times. Without fan support and with a quick trigger administration, a guy would be an absolute idiot to take that job.

Eh, holding a team to 3 points, including two turnover-on-downs within the 5 yardline (one with half of our second team defense in), is probably worse than WVU losing 30-14.

I've heard Seth Littrell, has serious interest and with Big12 connections wouldn't be a big surprise, I hate it because I'd love to pull him to Chapel Hill after we fire Fedora next year. He was our Offensive coordinator during the 11-1 season.

Both KU and KSU interested. Would be a good get for KU, I'd rather him go to KU than KSU for ISU's sake.

ETA: New dream, Littrell gets hired and he leads KU to a decent season (While losing to ISU) THEN UNC steals him and creates more Jayhawk Tears of a Coach leaving Lawrence for UNC.

The only reason we didn’t win by 40 was because our team had no interest in even playing the second half. Kansas recruiting is beyond an embarrassment. They’re not going to get any better than what they currently are. This is Beatty’s ceiling.

Ku did give Beaty 3.5 years. Beaty cleaned up CW's scholarship mess, so he put the program in better shape, but in general seems to be in over his head. I got the impression the fanbase didnt believe he would turn it around by this time last year and had given up. The loss to Nichols st to start the year had already dug his grave.

His time management in the 2nd half sure was suspect.

idk about that. leach was exploring last year. if they buck up enough money I bet he would

I don't know if he would go, but I could actually see him being a good fit there. Maybe enough time has passed since Mangino that they would hire someone like him.

We weren’t the reason. Could you seriously look at that program and think you need another reason? Probably was planning on it last week and they miraculously won.
yeah, he needed to be gone. This is the first year they have shown any improvement, and as others have said it's a senior laden class. This is such a thing as being too quick to fire a coach, but this isn't it
