KU HC David Beaty has been fired

We've got a thread on our board that says "Things have changed," and it might be true. But this is just more proof that outside perception has not. When Kansas fires their coach because he lost to ISU, that's just another sign of disrespect.

Man, I hope these guys just ******* drill Texas in a couple weeks.

I just told a friend of mine about 30 minutes ago that I wondered if David Beatty would make it back next year at KU.

The worst thing to happen to KU football was the ageless one being hired at kstate....and of course firing mark mangino...I hope that KU suffers thru another 50 years of LOSING.....

I believe they were going to **** can him last week but he had the audacity to beat TCU.

I’m sure it wasn’t just “because ISU”...but they picked the wrong year to circle us on the calendar if it had any impact on the decision.

I don’t know what they pay, but who can they realistically expect to lure there?

I guess they do have a huge $300m upgrade planned. Maybe that will make up for the near zero fan support.

Les Miles would be a terrible hire there. Charlie Weis part 2. They need a young, proven program builder

The last thing that KU needs is an aging lazy beaten down wreck of a football coaching hasbeen.....what KU needs is a young gun of a coach who can recruit and beat KState.........
