This is one case KF is right. Check your politics at the door.

Systematic racism is not a widespread thing in this country anymore. There is no one group in this country that is collectively being oppressed at the moment. But go ahead and spout off the handle and cry "racist" when someone doesn't agree with you. Its what your lot are so good at.

You need to look at arrest statistics and all cause mortality data sometime. You've spent to much time in Iowa.

The fact that you actually believe this is why people are protesting.

People are protesting because they are being fed an agenda. Let's be honest, do any of these protests happen if Michael Brown doesn't get shot and a false narrative comes out about how he died? I mean, its possible, but if you think that the media has not fueled the flames for everything that is going on right now you are living in a fantasy world.

Most everything that is in the media right now has some truth to it, but if we just take a step back and realize not everything is as bad or as good as it sounds, not everything needs a "hot take", and we certainly need our leader to quit acting like an attention seeking child, but we are all Americans and both sides need to take a step back and chill the f out.

Was this a widespread thing?
Oh so now it's not widespread enough for you? He was sheriff for years, his office was found to be targeting Latinos based on ethnicity, and over a million Latinos live in that county. You said it doesn't exist, I showed you otherwise.

I would invite you to come to any courthouse in America for a week and I guarantee you might see things through a different lens.

What I find the most sad about this is that the haters and supposedly-non-partisan "keep politics out of sports!" crowd is much, much more offended by this than the actual players are. Literally nothing has changed in football, NFL or college, except for a few players kneeling for 45 seconds instead of standing in that time.

The football game is exactly the f***ing same as before.

Not often you find a dumb WIB post.

It'd be the last game I'd attend until he graduated and most in our group's as well.

If that's going to cause you not to come to games, you need to grow the **** up.

One side is protesting something that has nothing to do with what their actual strife is and the other is so mentally fragile they can't handle someone kneeling for the damn anthem all the while most of them can't be bothered to stop walking on the concourse to observe the anthem. GTF over it.

There's that passive aggressive little dig I've seen so many Cyclone fans tossing around since Lazard's tweet. Nice subtle way of saying he should keep his mouth shut. What if he hadn't dropped the ball at all so far this season? Would it be okay for him to express himself then?
Don't give a flying rip if Lazard kneels, stands, or break dances during the anthem. I do care of he catches balls thrown to him.
