Would they really care about 2012? 2 Years ago, noone from that team for us anymore. And the winner had to play Kentucky anyways, maybe the best team in the last 10 years.

From what I saw against Nova, stop the dribble drive and you stop UCONN. It seems the lack of size will not be an issue. Kane needs to stay out of fouls trouble and we may want to rotate guards often to keep them fresh on the defensive end.

Overall, I like this match up.

Napier, Boatright, Olander, Giffey, and Daniels were all on that 2012 team. I'm sure they remember.

Don't know if SMU qualifies as "REALLY good." Good, sure.

UConn lost to Louisville 3 times and SMU twice. Also Stanford noncon. That's six of their losses.

Nobody from UCONN cares about 2012. Irrelevant. Napier holds the key to them. They are very good. We will have to have an A+ performance to advance but it can be done.
