Seeing on Twitter that Bobby Elliott has accepted a job at Notre Dame.

ISU coaches getting plucked away by big programs has to be a good sign.

Wonder if CPR stays in house again and hires a G.A. for the DB's.

Cpr did something right if our coaches keep getting poached. Hopefully he keeps making them, McCarney made a couple bad hires that really ended up hurting him.

I'd be extremely surprised if this turned out to be just a rumor.

a tweet coming from BTN seems to be pretty legit. also, Bob Elliott is not exactly the first name that would come to mind if wanting to start a rumor. just my opinion.

Didn't know Elliot played for Iowa. Also coached as a D Coordinator for Iowa & Kstate.

It isn't good that he is gone, but it is good that other programs want our assistants, and ND is a good place to lose them to.

Looks pretty legit now. I still can't confirm from anybody official at Iowa State but there is way too much smoke around this one for it not to be true IMO.

now becomes the question: who does he hire? Nick Caley was a G.A. for the Secondary this year..is he an option? or maybe someone from outside the staff? Austin Flynn is coaching the secondary at Grandview.
