Big 12 Intern Commissioner Chuck Neinas has said that he expects the conference to expand back to 10 teams and not 12 immediately. Looks like BYU is the leading canidate. Post all of your recent expansion news here.

Would like to see BYU, TCU, and Louisville to get back to 12. Probably won't happen though

Can't wait until the black hole devours this thread...

Ive said it before, but we should really just rename it the ***official realignment thread*** as its been about texas a&m, yes, but its also been the thread for all other things realignment as well.

If the black hole does not devour this thread, this thread will be the end of the black hole. There is a lot at stake here. Who will live on...

Why does everyone always say that playing in certain states opens up recruiting? We've been recruiting Fla. and Cal. somewhat successfully because we have coaches that know the area and have connections there. People are saying the SEC wants aTm to open up recruiting to Texas...You're telling me LSU and Bama can't go into Tex and get some pretty decent talent? It may be a little easier, but the reason they don't get them now is because they don't try.

Its obviously possible, but its easier when you play in that state. A lot easier. And you are a fool if you don't believe that. We wouldn't have nearly as many Texas players on our roster if it weren't for being in the Big12.

I think getting BYU should definitely be priority #1. 12 teams would be ideal, but first things first, is BYU.
