In person or on TV for the Newton race?
TV. I won't disagree that it's probably like hockey where in person is infinitely better. I'm just not dropping hundreds of dollars to find out.
In person or on TV for the Newton race?
I was really into it 20 years ago. Now, the "best drivers in the world" can't finish a race under green, and the overtime is a joke. I quit watching.I used to know the names of most of the NASCAR drivers. Now, I only know a handful and don't follow it anymore.
Same here. I heard the name of the guy who won Daytona this year and I said, “who?” Then I heard he has won like 6 races or somethingI used to know the names of most of the NASCAR drivers. Now, I only know a handful and don't follow it anymore.
Ty Gibbs certainly benefits from his last name. But saying he has no talent is very harsh imo.I’ve been trying to get back into NASCAR, but they have completely ruined the sport with the playoffs and stages. Takes all the strategy and talent it used to take to win. A lot of the guys racing in the cup series have no business racing at that level, but their grandpa owns the team so you get a ride(Ty Gibbs especially. Kid has no talent). Then you have the racist die hards who have to make everything about Bubba Wallace and keeping up with it makes it hard. They’re has definitely been some good racing with the real talent the last year that I’ve tried getting back into it, but then it comes to a stop with the stages or the “I can only win if I wreck people” and then you quickly lose interest.
Figure 8 races at the Carroll Coutry Fairgrounds are more exciting than NASCAR.
The kids in the best equipment on one of the best teams. His teammate has won 3/4 races to start the season and you know grandpa is giving his grandson the best they have to offer, yet he consistently runs near then back and causes multiple accidents. I know he caused at least 3 wrecks Sunday. The kid has no talent.Ty Gibbs certainly benefits from his last name. But saying he has no talent is very harsh imo.
