Why is who-13 ramming nascar down our throats?

Recently Who-13 local news has been promoting nascar races. This am they were previewing a race in Vegas. I don’t get it. Are they directed to do those segments by their owner?

Every time I see they are going to start talking nascar I flip to KCCI.

Thank you and have a nice day.

WHO isn't promoting them, someone is paying WHO to promote them.

You are missing out as the races have all been great this year.
I don't love or hate NASCAR. I will turn it on from time to time but I really don't get the whole stage thing. I know it is supposed to make the races more interesting but I just don't understand it. I haven't really looked into it but it just confuses me.

Love watching the sprint car races and to a far lesser degree other dirt track racing. That being said I don't get the love for NASCAR racing. To each his own I guess but as a race car fan I find present day NASCAR racing to be incredibly boring. Can't imagine watching that **** on TV let alone spend hundreds of dollars to actually attend a live event.

I actually do watch racing. I watch F1 sprints, quali, sprint quali and race every weekend it's on. I'll casually watch other racing series. That being said, I tried watching the NASCAR race at Newton last year and it was brutally boring. I just couldn't do it.

In person or on TV for the Newton race?
