Unless you've lost the mechanism to throw up (like I have - I haven't puked since I got alcohol poisoning on my 25th b-day and I haven't puked since, almost 20 years) - then it's bowel movements and it's twice as miserable.
Interesting. I also haven't puked in 25+ years. Food poisoning/stomach viruses just means diarrhea for me as well.

Not exactly sure.
I've had both at once and it was the worst I've ever felt.
At the same time? That would be awful. I got rid of my norovirus (which I got from bad water in NE) by slamming a bunch of Yukon Jack. Before that it was several days of throwing up and diarrhea that were both like I had eaten dirt.

Food poisoning is throwing up, bowel movements are not part of it to my knowledge.
Both ends, 2 times in my experience. Both times 2 to 3 years apart from a popular deli in Des Moines off of MLK. Miserable, and yes I don't go back. Once was their salad/olive bar and once was a chicken wrap from their counter.

Yes. Had BBQ catered from a reputable joint in Ft. Worth and it literally ruined our Thanksgiving.

Different kinds and degrees of food poisoning.

One Christmas I had dinner at a friend’s house. No idea which dish it was, but we all six got sick.

And there’s not much more disgusting than desperately trying to flush the toilet as you dizzily turn around to vomit, too.

That was the one day in thirty years I missed work due to illness. Then tried to go in the next day, and lasted about twenty minutes before I headed back home again.

I think it's probably KSU but....

They still have TCU, @texas, @Kansas, and us at home.

It might be Kansas honestly but it's truly up for grabs. Kansas feels very dependent on Jaylon Daniels health.

gun to my head: Kstate.
but it could be WVU, ISU, or TCU.
new qbs at TCU and kstate may be game changers.

Agreed. Many years ago, my employer held regional meetings at arguably the nicest hotel in Madison, WI. We all departed for home mid-morning Friday and I threw up twice on Friday night, then was fine by Saturday morning. Once people began to talk on Monday morning, we learned the full extent of the event, with over forty people taken ill. Most threw up a time or two and quickly recovered, while three were hospitalized. Crazy stuff, and really disgusting once the Health Department completed their investigation and we learned the cause of our food poisoning.
You do realize that we have all been waiting for almost 3 months for the rest of the story, don't you?

That sounds miserable.

I used to love morel mushrooms. Then one time I had morels with a meal right before a road trip to Chicago. I puked like crazy multiple times along the side of I-80. I was really queasy around them - even the smell for years but eventually was able to eat a very few. I got sick again one time and waited a few years before trying them again. To make a long story short I tried them one last time and when I started to get sick I was determined to not throw up. Worst decision of my life. If they couldn't get out that way they would find another way. I had the worst abdominal cramps of my life for the next 90 minutes or so as it worked its way entirely through my GI tract in record time.

I have now accepted the fact that I am allergic to morels and will never eat them again.

I can't imagine not being able to throw up and having to go through that every time my body needs to get rid of something.

"Norovirus is highly contagious and causes sudden onset of severe vomiting and diarrhea. The virus is commonly spread through food or water that is contaminated by fecal matter during preparation."

Our company meeting was afflicted by Norovirus, which explains why I had questions when it was suggested ISU players had such in Ohio. In our event, every one of us was interviewed (phone) by the health department and our outbreak was reported to the CDC. It was a big deal with ramifications.

I never saw Norovirus associated with the ISU football program anywhere except this website, yet when I questioned it, the backlash was significant. I guess many believe anything said by CW & BB. Whatever - it's all history now.
