Let’s all just agree that the league is having a very rough year. Glad to see TX and OU leave, but collectively we need to push the league back up into firm #3 and not let the ACC keep building their teams.

Until Texas doesn't do Texas things, then they are 3rd. So, we are now talking "Who is 2nd?"

Agreed... That said, I think realistically we have a slight chance of it being us. Us being so young it might be hard to think we're going to run the table, but this was a huge win and you never know.

Feet to fire I'd say WVA because they'd been fairly consistent till the collapse vs Houston

I don’t have the scoop, but believe I read it in the premium thread and don’t want to get in trouble on the site.

EDiT: I see it’s been mentioned in a crap ton of threads so I guess I wouldn’t get in trouble. More surprising that someone could miss it after I did a search.
I thought it was discussed on a pod too, that norovirus was running rampant through the team

I could honestly make an argument for this. If the team doesn't get food poisoning and pulls out a W in some form at Ohio, how many of you wouldn't believe we were the third best team at this point?
I mean...if they don't get food poisoning, they don't lose and change the offense, so I think we'd actually be worse

Not exactly sure.
food poisoning, norovirus who cares what it was, Rocco was puking his guts out at halftime
I’ve had both. FP, you throw up a couple times and are just a little tired. Noro, you have it coming out both ends and are completely gassed.

That of course depends on why those changes were made, which would need insider information.

Maybe things would have changed sooner if their game plan wasn't altered by the sickness going through the team.

Oh I know all about food poisoning had it very bad twice including my sophomore year (1999) before the Iowa game.

Thursday night woke up in the middle of the night needing to puke. Ran to the dorm restroom and puked my guts out. Crawl back to my dorm room and sleep on the floor with the trash can right next to me. Friday morning I tried to get up to go to class and had no energy. Rested in my dorm room until like noon, still no energy. Called the football trainer who had me go to student health. While in the waiting room at student health I almost passed out so they put me in a room to lay down. Doc Shulman ended up giving me a pill, said "DO NOT TAKE THIS UNTIL YOU ARE BACK IN YOUR ROOM BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO KNOCK YOU OUT".

Once back in my room I took the pill and went to sleep. I wake up to the phone ringing and answer it, it's my dad. I look at the clock and it says 7:30 so I think it is 7:30 AM Sat but it is really 7:30 PM Friday because I was in such a deep sleep. My Dad says "they will meet me after the game tomorrow outside the locker room after the game". Every time he says tomorrow I correct him to "Today" since I thought it was Saturday morning. That call ends and he probably thinks I'm high or something.

I get on my computer and see my gf is online with AOL instant messenger (she was at UGA for a semester). I message her and ask why she is up so early (since I still think it's Saturday morning". She's like "uhhh what's wrong with you, why do you think it's the morning, I'm going to call you". So she calls me and tells me it's 7:30 PM to which I freak out thinking it's 7:30 PM Saturday and I am missing the game. It didn't help that I could see the stadium lights on since practice was a night walkthrough since it was a night game. She gets me calmed down and to realize it's only Friday night.

But holy **** whatever that pill Doc Shulman gave me ****** me up but made my stomach feel better.
