***College Towns to Visit***

Reminds me, we stopped in Waco once on a non-game-day visit. Maybe during a football game it would be different, but I found no redeeming quality to Waco.

Having spent a tiny bit of time in Waco myself there isn't. We ended up driving out the the Branch Davidian compound to make things more interesting. This was in my younger days after spending several hours of drinking beer and playing Golden Tee golf. I still have a piece of the foundation.

I got out to Beer and Fish and Blackbird Wood Fire pizza last time. Planning to explore more when I'm back there in July

Wurst Bier Hall is a great stop, and then I just learned it was a chain, but Sickies Garage had one of the best burgers I've ever had and some incredible apple pie nachos.

There was another bar/brewery type place we went to that I'm not finding on a google search, but yeah, tons of places to go

Northfield MN is a nice older, river town that has a nice downtown. Colleges are St Olaf and Carleton.

That Northfield/Cannon Falls/Red Wing corridor is amazing.
Great summer towns. Tubing, bars, etc.

Did anyone mention Decorah? Small but very cool.
