When are fans going to realize that we will desperately miss Arnaud next year?

AA makes mistakes.....and the staff may find a QB that is more accurate next year.

But AA will go down as our "Joe Kapp"...one of the toughest son of a ******* that ever played QB for ISU.

He has also represented himself and ISU with class off the field.

I actually think we might miss David Sims more than anyone next year.

When the next QB makes more mistakes and everyone will be like "Can we get Arnaud back?"

There are a handful of guys on this team that are set to end their eligibility this year that we will miss in 2011. Period.

Can you also tell me what the winning Powerball numbers will be? Seriously though, there's really no way to tell what next year's QB will accomplish. We might be terrible at QB and pine for the days of AA. We might have a dynamic playmaker who will make us all forget about the play of AA. No one really knows.

I will definitely miss his toughness though. But I don't think it's unreasonable to think that another QB could replicate the numbers he's put up this year.

When we dont meet the expectations many are putting out there on this board.

I agree. I don't believe Tiller is the answer at QB for next year, and we have little knowledge of Barnett/Capello's ability.

he could not start for another b-12 team so 'never'. he is out of position at qb. great kid, articulate, represents ISU very well, will do very well in life.

I think that we will miss him, but I look forward to the open competition for the starting spot.

I how that Barnett and Capello get a fair shake at the starting spot. I just want the best quarterback starting.

I'll certainly miss his toughness, and when he's on, he's as effective as anyone. It's hard to tell who will replace him next year, and what that will mean for our team as a whole. I'm hoping that someone will step in to fill the void, and perhaps even be more consistent (probably won't have the severe ups or severe downs).

The more I think about it, this is one hell of a senior class. These guys have been through a lot, and brought us some of the best moments we've had as Cyclone fans.

I can't wait to cheer all of them on Senior Day.
