Had a friend who would get kegs of Dinky Wheat. I used to love that stuff.
For me, I only drank beer in college if we were playing drinking games. If my goal was to get intoxicated, I was drinking liquor. Sailor Jerry. He's a bad man.
Busch light was dirt cheap in the late 80s. For some reason they started marketing it as a mid premium beer. So it was red/white & blue or meister Brau longnecks. Each was 3.99 a case IIRC.

When I was walking around, doing my paper route as a young lad, with my Walkman on, Olde English 800 used to have a fantastic jingle. I liked it better than any song on the radio at the time. "Olde English... 800... It is the power!"Olde English 800. Two 40 ozs were less than $5.
So did I until I drank other craft beers and realized that Olde Main is straight up terrible!
