Get you thoughts out of the gutter. :wideeyed: We are Leaving for Mexico for a Week, Tomorrow. South of Playa Del Carmen (ie: south of Cancun). AI resort.

-The wifey just enjoys laying on the beach reading a book and getting some sun.

Our group has 3 toddlers to chase around, but what are ideas to occupy some time on the beach.
I assume I will:
a. Drink
b. build some Sand castles
c."people watch"
d. beach VB
e.maybe snorkel and rent a kayak/little boat thingy.
f. float around in the ocean/pools

What are some other Ideas you guys got......

I have done all those with the exception of building sand castles at AI resorts in Mexico.

Your resort will also likely have a daily schedule of activities both on and off the beach that you can choose from. If you decide not to join in on some activities, it could enhance your "people watching".

Make sure you you wear mirrored sunglasses so you don't get caught by the wife when checking out the topless Europeans.

Took our honeymoon in the vicinity. Spent weeks thinking about watching a sunset over the ocean...then on the plane down...wait...that don't work out on the east coast of Mexico. Felt pretty dumb.

Don't take a coupon from some guy for a free buffet down the road at some other hotel, while getting a free taxi ride to boot, which turns into a time-share tour, then into a large banquet room of hard-selling the time-share down your throat by the same guy high on cocaine and his manager pressuring you

Go see the ruins at Tulum, should be very close to where you are staying. You can catch a cheap bus ride on the main highway. Go in the morning before it gets busy, probably not too busy this time of year though.

1.Call grandparents and leave toddlers at home.
2.Then start this thread over.

You will see a substantial improvement in ideas.

Wear sunglasses so that you can use your peripheral vision.

This is a must!

We just got back from our honeymoon to the virgin islands. My wife can sit and read a book for hours, but I get bored extremely easily.

If your lady friend is coordinated:
Frisbee
Beach Paddle Ball

Other:
Snorkle
SUP Boarding
Kayak

If you are REALLY bored:
Build a massive fortress around your drink close to the water, and watch as the waves attempt to collapse your fortress wall and overflow your mote.
