I'd say we have a good chance against Mizzou, Baylor, and OSU
with a chance against K state

Just saying, you started panicking early and you're spinning faster and faster that direction. Enjoy the ride. This team's got some good potential to it.

9-7 conference record and we will be good if McDermott doesn't get in the way of our team, he will so we will probably go 6-10.
We need more Boozer and Dendy and less Christopherson and Hamilton.
McDermott is the worst in game strategy coach we have had at Iowa State University.
If you are the Iowa State mens basketball coach you have to fight like we are going to get screwed and lose. I have not seen that since Eustachy, Floyd, and Orr.

After looking at that again.. maybe 17-14 is a bit optimistic. Beating OSU, and winning 2 road games looks tough.
Anything less than 20 wins this year and an NCAA tournament bid should be considered a massive dissapointment for this team. With the all around talent that is on this team, there is no reason they should do any worse than 20 wins, at least. Anything under that and ISU should be looking for a new guy to run things. I think they can get to 20 wins still, and this team can upset a Kansas, Texas, or Duke also.
I'm somewhat confident we will win at least one of those early three games (Duke, Texas or Kansas). The earlier we win one of those, the more I believe we will win another. I think we win 20.
I'm not crazy, but I've seen crazier things happen.

I think they'll win 21. The talent is, without a doubt, there. I think the kids will put it all together and go on a run, possibly after a big upset. Momentum is everything in college sports, and I think they get on a roll.
Since I obviously see what I see on the outcomes and my opinion means nothing to anyone on here unless its to their thinking....here is my re-vamped very very sarcastic predictions.

Duke - L will lose a heartbreaker by 1 point
NDSU - W thought Houston was bad wow....this will take us to a new scoring record
100+ in scoring
Texas - W Texas....wow, Texas is just plain over-rated win by 10
