Losing on the road to Texas Tech or TCU would be a bad, bad, bad, bad loss. Losing to West Virginia at home is a bad loss. Take one of those without a bunch of good wins, and you have a resume that screams "NIT."

Since we don't have any big wins at all, losing one of those 3 games is lethal to our chances.

Regardless who the losses are to, 14-4 (24-7) is dancing. Even then they would still have 2 conference losses to give. If they lose one of these it probably means they have to win one more against the big boys but all hope is not lost.

If we lose to the bottom feeders, I wouldn't count on 14-4. That simply won't happen.

I don't believe we lose these games. I believe we'll be 5-1 after the Purplecats are here on 1/26. That said, you can't lose to the bottom feeders without a bunch of good wins to erase that black mark.

Despite those three teams being relatively bad, it still is a ridiculously balanced conference. You could have a real bad game against one of those teams and still be strong in your other games. Losing one would be difficult, I agree, but all hope is not lost as you suggested in your post.

With our current resume, it certainly does, unless the NIT=hope.

Our best win is a close game at Kansas, and that's still a loss. Bad losses would cripple our resume until we boost it up with a couple of good wins. Even then, I think these next three each qualify as bad losses, should that happen.

If we lose one of these, there's really no way to think we're good enough to win 12-14. Teams that can do that don't lose at TCU or TT, and probably not at home to WVU this year.

It is a late tipoff game during the week..... The students will be there but I hope the rest of the fans will be there.

We need to pay the Mountaineers back for that loss they gave us on our field in football.

Agreed ... Student section will hopefully be 2/3 full. Rest of the place will be full too!

I give up; you win. If they happen to drop a game feel free to give up on the team.
