At some point during the conference season we'll have to find out if we can win a slow paced game. Can we win if we don't get to 70?

They have started 11 different players this year and have 11 who play an average of 10 minutes or more per game.

You know what that means...lots of fouls to give and I'll bet they use practically all of them. Hopefully Fred has the bigs working on finishing with arms draped all over them. It would be nice to be shooting half as many FT's as "and ones" rather than trying to earn the points with two shots at the line.

I think it all depends on how well we're crashing the boards. If we win that battle like I think we will than we win by 10+. If not, than it could be a nail biter.

This will be a grind it out game. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being our first game under 70. Gotta be mentally tough and get this one at home.

Think the next 3 games should test our point streak. All three teams do their best to make it ugly, or nasty if you will.

As I recall, WVU plays a lot of sophomores. Looks like they don't really have a go to scorer as they have only two averaging about 10 (10.6 & 10.5).
I could see Kilicli giving us fits as he is a 6'9" 260 pound senior who knows how to throw his weight around down low. Gonna need a good game from Percy off the bench. Also gonna need Percy to not chuck it up every time is has the ball.

We have foul trouble early on, hurting our rebounding. So with that I think we keep the 70+ scoring streak alive, but in a close one 73-67 good guys

WV is very young and had 2 or 3 transfers come in this year, they are getting better, but I think we are too. I see a good game with ISU pulling away down the stretch. 77-67

Iowa State has to bring muscle against WVU. WVU plays tough and likes to talk a lot of trash as well so we have to be mentally tough and tough on the boards and play our game. It will be tough, but I think 78-69 good guys. Hilton better be rocking all night long no sitting on our duffs.
