I understand what you're saying. That's just how I've started to look at it, personally, and it makes me feel better about it.

Yet many people do not donate to enterprises that fail or fail continually. Whether a person likes it or not, donors have expectations. Very few are donating without an expectation that things will improve. Many donors who don't see improvement eventually just move their donation to something with a stronger future.
I dont think 99% of posters want everyone fired, just one guy. And im pretty sure that is going to happen so we 99% arent off in our view of our team. There is no possible way that CPR does not agree that the offense needs a major overhaul even with all the injuries.

While I can't argue with your logic, I urge you and anyone else that is tempted to give in to the pain that is being a Cyclone fan to continue the fight. Just like the offense on the field, we have clawed for every inch of ground gained by this program. ISU is no longer a perennial doormat despite being the northernmost school in the Tex... er Big XII conference. There is more parity in college football than I have seen in my lifetime and this program has and will continue to benefit from that. Let's be honest here, our footing in a BCS conference is precarious but I do believe the staff is doing everything they feel they can to solidify that hold. Is it enough for us fans? Not very often and that's okay. However, I can't remember a point since Seneca left where I felt ISU had a shot game in and game out like I do with this coach.

Some thoughts here:
1. I didn't say I'm tempted to give up. I'm saying that people invest less in things that aren't moving forward.
2. There really isn't more parity than ever before. Just look at our conference standings. We're looking at a pretty clear "haves" and "have nots" situation developing here and elsewhere.
3. The offense doesn't scratch and claw for much of anything. I think that's one of the major problems people have with that group.
Erik: What he's saying is that when things start getting to you, you need to learn to lightly brush it off or just let it go by like you didn't even see it....like our offensive line.
And remember that there all kinds of worthy causes to donate to. ISU is no more entitled to our donations than any other "charity."

Gotta love the "think like me, act like me or you are a bad fan and person" posts. Well, not really, good grief, people have opinions that are not going to match yours and you don't get to throw everyone out of the club that doesn't agree with you. Start your own country club and assign yourself as membership director. Think you should be saying "I" not "we"
