I think we can all agree...
**** Iowa, DILLY DILLY!
**** Iowa, DILLY DILLY!
I just spotted Chris Williams getting on a plane headed for Mexico. He was wearing flip flops and swimming trunks so I am guessing it's a vacation.

Media in Illinois (outside of Champaign) doesn't care about UI, it's all pro-focused. A huge difference from Iowa where Hawkeye sports are everything.
Not sure where you're getting that from my post. Illinois has wanted THT and clearly wants him still. The impact of spring events 1) our coaching change and 2) his move from MIF basically made the consensus that he was gone. Because of this + lack of interest in UI from Chicago media THT wouldn't have been a big story at all. It'd be a big miss for the team (as they obviously want him...as do I) but Conditt was a bigger loss from a PR & media perspective because we were much more in the hunt for him.Are you saying Illinois truly didn't want a player like THT from day one? That's not a good look either
Now be nice to the Illinois posters on here, folks. They were nice and chill.
We should welcome our guests.
We all hate Iowa, which is the best foundation for a relationship possible.
Thanks for coming over, guys! Hope you do well with or without THT!
Random thought but was someone saying earlier him being only 16 is not true? Just curious
I've seen that quoted on Twitter a few times. I'd assume that if that's the case, he'll turn 17 soon.
There is evidence, just premium boards. There is no benefit. General consensus was we never had a chance until the sudden movement this week so if anything this "excuse smokescreen" actively HURTS Illinois. Makes zero sense from UI's perspective.

True that. When I lived in IC & CR the Hawkeye media boner was so ridiculous. Only place I ever saw anything like it was the PSU hard-on the media had when I lived in Harrisburg, PA....even in the midst of the Sandusky scandal breaking.FIFY
Especially since opposing fans always complained that Georges traveled a lot more than was called . . . .Not sure about that nickname, he's already being compared to Niang, no need to give KU fans any ammo.
COME to think of it, that would have been a good nickname for Georges
Nice, that's interesting. Probably not done growing and with those skills he'll be a real problem.
As one could say about any evidence from ISU. That being said, the source was actually neutral from Illinois.Evidence from sources tied to Illinois is not credible evidence
