Hey, some would say it's rather foolish to even be on the computer when the game is going on - I wouldn't disagree with 'em.

Again - people can do what they want as long as rules are being followed.
I agree, but my PC is two feet away from my TV and I keep it on to post about the game during TV TO's etc. , like I said before as if I was talking to the guy next to me at the game...just my opinion...

Jeremy should shut down all threads but the game thread during any sporting event. I think this is a great idea...

Attention: Chuck Boozer just texted me a little bit ago and said he was on his Palm pilot during the game, and he said the lack of people paying attention to the Iowa State vs aTm game thread on cyclone fanatic really made the team play bad as they didn't feel as if everyone was supporting the team.

I see over on the post-game thread that Coach might be on the hot seat next year. Boy that seems productive.

Post game is over 30 mins after the game ends...dont you know this is the time to post ONLY off-topic stuff, since there are no athletic events taking place?

I'm not just simply stating that during a game that everyone can watch on tv if nothing else can discuss and watch the game together. To me that's the whole point of this site. I am all for the off topic stuff, etc. any other time. I for one post A LOT of off topic stuff when we're not playing, but during the game I am all about the game. If this really bothers people here then ask yourself why...

Some of us have achieved the ability to multitask. We can do several different things simultaneously. If you eat your Wheaties and go to bed on time, one day you will be able to multitask too!!

Until then, get off your high horse...:skeptical::confused:

What we should do is stop all new threads from appearing within 15 minutes of a Cyclone loss. I'd be much happier with this outcome.

I'd say more but I've got to start my "Fire Pollard and McDermott Tonight!!!!!" thread.

Every time you post outside the game thread ISU's FG% drops a point.

Our football season + our men's basketball season = a long frustrating year.

I think we will all be friends again in the morning. Right now, we are just letting off steam. No harm...no foul.

Sheesh.

When I'm at a bar watching a game or at home watching with friends we've invited over - we'll talk about things other than the game during the game now and then.

I know...I know...how could we?

Beer is a much better cure to post-lost syndrome.

I'm glad people here aren't ISU ADs...we would've had about 16 different head coaches this year.

That's actually a pretty neat idea! The next improvement to cyclonefanatic.com?

There used to be a chat room. Don't know what happened to it.

Of course, credits would have to be given, or all of us "tight-wads" would post anyway:wink:
