This is too bad. I hope he can come back from this. A lot of people don't like Tiger, but I enjoy watching his dominance. Hopefully he can bounce back next year and persue that 18 major mark.

I realize this guy will be getting the best care in the history of the world, but you can only have so many knee surgeries. This could be the thing that keeps Tiger from obtaining the status of The Golden Bear.

Tiger is lame and vulnerable. He has had 3 knee operations already. Goodbye left knee cartilage? Married life has been tough on him.

Jackal Jack may be smiling. All 1972 Miami Dolphineers take note that sometimes records do last longer than expected.

Tiger is going to play like a Ken Griffey and take a big break from action.

Other pro golfers are salivating. The Mick L Son better rev it up. Stewart Cink might win a major. Vijay might practice even more stringently. Nick Faldo might have a shot. The New Zealand and South African golfers are replanning their itinerary. John Daly might give up drinking. Is Gary player still out there? CBS is not a happy camper.

Remember the fellow who needed a golfcart due to circulatory problems. Maybe Tiger will get to use one next year to get him back on the course.

Did he hurt his knee more by playing saturday? What kind of pain drugs was he on Sunday and Monday?

If we've learned anything by now, it's to not underestimate Tiger. My guess is he'll be more like Jordan who came back and doubled his number of championship rings. Athletes - and people who get things done - just don't come around very often. Tiger's one of that elite class of people. He'll be back, with a vengeance.

Ridiculous. I wonder if the etched that in the trophy he took home on Monday.
Didn't you see how vulnerable he was? He only beat some of the best golfers in the world while on one leg! :skeptical:

Yep, Tiger has Mike focus and not Kobe focus.

In Tiger's Book..."How I play golf".......Tiger talks about how he can snap his front (left) leg to gain extra distance on drives and shots he needs to.....

I would look for him to do another complete swing revision, when he comes back, as to not put so much stress on that joint......he is good enough to adapt to just about anything....

Will not be as much fun watching Golf....Majors, Ryder Cup....ect..

I always root for Tiger to lose, so this is going to be very disappointing. I hope he gets better soon, I really don't want to see a guy like this disappear because of an injury.
