Yep, the TCU choice over Louisville still wasn't my preference and it would have given them a partner.

I always thought that when the big 12 was donnie duncanized.....that Baylor should have been left out and TCU should have been admitted. I think the choice of TCU over Louisville is just more duncanization by the powers that be, and btw if I remember correctly good old loser donnie duncan was from TexAZ.....

Honestly, if I were the BIG, a WV vs Penn State, or WV vs Maryland on an annual basis would bring in some match up eyeballs. The days of gaining network eyeballs are over. Now its all about match ups.

So they are saying travel to SC, GA and FL are eating up their cash? If you look at a map, we travel just as far to go to the Texas schools. And imagine what WV travel must be! To cite travel as an excuse is laughable.

Did the SEC even want them? I remember they were all excited about TAMU, but with Missouri it was more like "oh well I guess you're somewhat geographically close and we could use another program to keep our numbers even"
SEC was not their first choice. Big 10 was. When NU caught wind that Big 10 was looking, they became the choice. MU took the SEC offer to save face.

Id take them back if they repented. It would make sense to trade WV for Arkansas but that'll never happen. Doubt the wild pigs want to be in the same conference as Bevo ever again.

Yea, this is why I shed no tears for MU, and do not want them back. They where whoring themselves out and sticking it to their old Big 6/Big 8 "friends".

Plus, being in KC, I cannot ever forgive Gov. Nixon for being the head cheerleader on their departure even though it would economically damage KC area, some of his constituents.

**** Mizzou.

Missouri was with a 9 and wanted the 10. They switched to the 10 and then found out she was pregnant with someone elses baby. Now they are stuck with her. Plus, in Missouri's case they found out the ten actually smokes cigarettes also. Now they look back at the 9 and are like "Wow, she went on without me and is actually having some fun". That is what happened in this case. Enjoy your now 5 Missouri.

Plus, at least we all "respected" MU (at one time) and had a good set of rivalries. The other SEC schools could give a flying **** about MU, and all they have is a forced, made up rivalry with Arkansas.

Why not? They share a border and are a former Big 8 and Big 12 school. Any win over them is better than most teams we play non-conference. Financially they are a bigger draw for ticket sales than some no name cupcake team.
They put the fate of the conference, and thereby ISU, in significant jeopardy. I can assure you, the conference was extremely close to folding. I am a vindictive person. One thing I admire Bill Self for is that KU will never play Mizzou as long as he is coach. Let them travel to, and be a part of the confederacy. Not only should we not play them, I hope they never win a game in anything ever again. Hopefully, my position is clear.
