Along with Emmanuel Malou and Donovan Jackson, I'm hearing that Thik Bol of Iowa Western C.C. will be visiting Iowa State tomorrow.

Bol is widely known as the top shot blocker in JUCO hoops. Averaging 5.6 of them per game.

Iowa State has not offered yet but I feel like they might be nearing one.

That gym looks familiar...

Someone has to ask if he's related to Manute, so I'll do it.
Is he related to Manute?

Iowa Western profile: http://athletics.iwcc.edu/sports/player.asp?sport=basketball_m&int=2400

Doesn't mention anything about Manute.

2014-15: Thik Bol rewrote the record books in 2014-15. Bol led the nation in blocked shots (4.9bpg), and broke the Reivers single season shot block record with 147 blocks. He played in all 30 games for the Reivers and averaged 9.6ppg. Bol was selected to the All Region XI Second Team for his efforts during his freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Thik Bol resides from just across the river, where he played his high school basketball at Omaha’s Benson High School. The 6’8 Bol averaged 9ppg, 3rpg, and 3bpg for head coach Donnie Johnson’s squad. During his time at Benson, the Bunnies had some of their most successful seasons, going to two straight Nebraska state tourneys including a USA Today #16 national ranking early his senior season. That 2013-14 team ended up with a 25-4 overall record.

PERSONAL: Thik is the son of Alkeer Deng

Interesting guy. He must be really raw offensively as no one of note appears to be recruiting him. I suppose this could be Prohm moving towards a little more defensive type of team.

We are going to struggle big time on offensive side next year. Losing McKay, Niang and Morris will hurt big time.

No. Manute Bol's son, Bol Bol, is a Top 20 recruit in the Class of 2018, attends Bishop Meige HS in Kansas City and is already getting recruited by most of the power schools. Pencil him in as a nighmare shot blocker for KU 3-4 years from now.

Nope.

**Insider Info Alert**

A friend of mine that went to Iowa State once saw Manute Bol at Disney World about 25-30 years ago. He said, "Hi Manute Bol." Manute Bol replied, "Hi" with a smile. His son will be going to ISU based upon this information.

Hes got an outside shot from what Ive seen a smidge of. Not just a dunker. He not only blocks shots but appears to track them down afterward with some strength and aggressiveness.
