Personally I hope we don't need a grad transfer would much rather have a couple multi year players (sit out,JUCO or freshmen) and use Bowie, Malou, Burton and Young as our front court rotation. We have at 5 guards prohm has said are Big 12 rotation worthy (Monte,Naz,Thomas,Babb,Jackson). That is 9 guys right there. Now say Young isn't ready yet to play spot minutes (I doubt this) what grad transfer is worthy to really warrant a minute reduction? So far i'd say Livingston because he'd give us a different look when needed but to act like we need two front court grad transfers is crazy, in fact I would argue it isn't feasible. If the right guy is available great we go for him otherwise we continue to build for our future. I am fine with upgrading for the future and putting the best team for next year but we aren't going to play 13 guys. Someone has to sit and why not have that be a sit out transfer. We have had I ne at least every year I can remember.
Plus there are 3 guys I didn't mention that played non mop up minutes that aren't mentioned above in Cooke, Ashton and Carter. Sure one or 2 of these guys may leave but the folks on here act like minutes grow on trees. We have 5 guys likely to get most of our minutes leaving at the end of the year. I really don't want a huge cliff because we didn't get a few guys underneath an opportunity. So for me if I could take 2 more it would be Livingston and a sit out guard.
