I tend to think where there is smoke there is fire. And there is too much unlv smoke.

But I am surprised they didn't make one last trip out there. I assume they were told it wouldn't matter but it might have been worth a shot. At the very least it would make him look you in the face and tell you.

All if that being said there wasn't much time for a trip for fred .

I wouldn't say that. If you are only going to recruit and use resources on "sure commits" then you are going to have a team of guys from podunk Iowa. Like the lottery you can't win if you don't play, you can't get a highly ranked guy if you don't try.

Its hard to believe that Vaughn chooses UNLV... there has been no talk the last month about him doing this.

I can see it now on CBS Sports Network...

Vaughn sitting in his chair talking about "the decision" and then he announces that he will be wasting his talents in Vegas.
