This site was enjoyable, and I am not leaving. However, we now need an A+ refresher course to navigate our way around the virtual community...I have neither the time nor the inclination to parse your counterintuitive application techniques. I feel this all was a solution in search of a problem, and you and your company succeeded in short order. If you do not want me here, just tell me to my virtual face. It's okay; I can accept my dismissal with no Ill will or malice. Thank you for the good times, one and all.

Some of you guys are acting like you have to cure brain cancer or solve a Rubik’s cube in order to do a 10 second task.

I didn't even notice ISR was gone and don't miss it.

I partook plenty but in the end, reading a bunch of takes full of more knowledge about Iowa sports teams' players than ISU was always a little weird.

Not exactly sure.

I had to look, the first one is kinda way down on page 2 for me. The trolls that are still here basically suck. Not fun. When twins got bounced, that killed the forum also.

So “liberals” can’t be “liberals” if they’re former Republicans? Hit me with some of that higher-educated liberal logic and explain that to me. Isn’t a liberal a liberal, even if said liberal used to think correctly at one point in their life?

I'd be happy to elaborate in the cave, but there's no way to respond to this without getting into a more broadly political discussion.

At the end of the day, I made this decision for the following reasons which I hope everybody can respect.

1 -- Iowa State player parents, perspective players, etc., come to this website every day. Iowa State sports need to be the focal point. What they need to see first. Not angry political discourse. We can have those conversations (and you still can, nobody is saying you shouldn't be able to) but it can't be the main event for CF.

2 -- Sponsors, which keep the site free, don't want to be associated with the politics. I totally understand this and wouldn't' want my company associated with it either.

3 -- Just being frank, the discourse in our country is awful these days. It's even worse on a message board where people don't have to put their name and face behind it. If it was more civil, we wouldn't make the move. But I can't imagine it improves between now and November.

Thanks for understanding and I apologize for any issues.
