I just heard about it tonight either on the local news or Dave Ramsey, can't really remember. I have been up all night watching this final between Nadal/Federer, it is all starting to blur together. At this pace I may be joining Alaskaguy by not watching the Super Bowl.

Interesting to see how this plays out.

Nice job on your devotion to tennis. Must be the Minnesota Guardsman in you that finds that appeal to tennis.:wideeyed::yes:

A few dollars worth of pot and a few million dollars in endorsement money might have gone up in smoke at the same time. I thought Phelps had more smarts about the value of his image than that.

I would wager quite a bit of money that this is nothing but a hoax.

The guy in the photo has a resemblence to Phelps but that is about it.

Haha what a joke, do you realize that alot of top american male swimmers smoke pot. They use it for relaxation. Peirsol is one example but theres a lot more.

Well he said he needed 6000 calories a day. Maybe he wanted some munchies to keep that intake up.

The govt really should think about decriminalizing it and then just taxing the crap out of it. They could regulate it and employers could still make a determination on what they allow so that people would have to chose between that and their jobs. That way it wouldn't get out of control. Plus marijuana has the highest profit potential of any drug for how cheap it is to produce compared to what it is sold for. That would take the money out of it putting dealers out of business. The state of California takes in 11 million a year right now just in sales taxes from the medical marijuana distributors. Think of the revenue that could be generated if it were decriminalized and regulated on a national scale. We could literally smoke our way out of this recession.

And the employer that decided they didn't want marijuana smokers is sued out of existence the first time they try this, by an employee that doesn't want to be "discriminated against for legal activity they engage in during their personal time." That'll go pretty well.:no:
