It amazes me how many people are unhappy after a win. Doesn’t matter how you play all that matters in the number in the win column. There are so many positives today compared to last season and people are still complaining.

I think all you said is correct however I question the o line being serviceable. I’m worried they will struggle against better teams. I don’t think they did well at all against UNI today. Our rbs were hit in the backfield all day and there weren’t many holes to run through. Pass protection was ok but seemed like our qbs had to move off their spot quite a bit to get throws off. I’m worried for next week.

Defense gets an A.
Special Teams gets an A.

Offense.... C-. Not because of players but just not impressed with the play calling. It felt like a Tom Manning game. A lot of duplicate play calls and 2 drives...we did nothing. even including a 20 yard short field scoer. We had 10 plays for 158 on our two scores....

We then had 35 plays for 98 yards. That's not even 3 yards and a cloud of dust.



All I know for sure is whatever the point spread is next week I'm going under. I don't know that Iowa and Iowa State will combine for 30 points.

It looks like itll be another great defensive and ST battle

Right, I don't know who thought we were going to come out with a double reverse, then go 4 wide run and shoot. Stupid. The same people complaining now would be saying they put too much on film for Iowa. It wasn't a good offense before, it's not going to change over night. The game was over at halftime, wtf was he supposed to do?
