Ok so I was at a birthday party with zero internet access and was able to get out of there and see the last two minutes of the first half. That part was nice, but what the hell is going on with the offense. Was shocked we had only 6 points (all off FGs too and not a missed PAT or something). We not able to throw on these dudes or what?

If Patrick Mahomes was given another year of eligibility and came to ISU there'd be someone on CF who thinks we're better off putting the backup in.

Meanwhile Becht makes a couple of great plays to put ISU ahead which is why he's the starter.

Monday is the beginning of 'bench the ISU basketball player when it's clear they give them the best chance to win and basketball rosters are really small' season so maybe they're just getting warmed up.

Our offensive philosophy seems a bit like cruise control on a muscle car. I get it as the defense stays fresher with longer possessions, but sometimes we need to cut it loose earlier.
