This will probably happen more often now with the huge conferences and the fact you can miss over 50% of your conference opponents any given year.We took the field in November as one of 7 undefeated teams remaining.

^^^ This x 1,000.
The worst passing defense in the league. Yet, we stubbornly kept trying to "pound the rock."
I know there was rain later on, but we should have been WAY less predictable in the first half and much of the 3rd Q.
This after CW singing the praises of Mauser using the off week to self reflect. Seems like that didn’t work out so great.Play calling today was horrible from beginning to end. It was pretty clear what tech was going to do after ucf did it, pressure. And we were not ready at all.
I think so too, but I wonder if we believe this for the same reasonThis might end up going down in ISU history as our worst loss of all time.
Reasons: Manning type non-creative play calling, Rocco trying to throw fast balls and being inaccurate, Hansen injured supposedly where he is much superior to our other backs, receivers not getting separation, and Verdon not catching that ball in the end zone, cast or no cast.
The defense at the end was awful. Guys scrambling out of position the whole series. 2 plays that should've been 6 where we were beat deep with no help.Waste time outs and pour play calling. Very conservative defense in the end.
This. Tech was giving us those all day and we refused to take it.I can never tell what's happening on the back end but a very successful look seemed to be Noel and Higgins on short stuff to let them get 5-6 more on their own or more but ISU didn't stick to it.
It kind of reminded me of KU last year; just move the sticks and take what's there.
Absolutely. And I think we only ran this play 3-4 times in the whole game.I can never tell what's happening on the back end but a very successful look seemed to be Noel and Higgins on short stuff to let them get 5-6 more on their own or more but ISU didn't stick to it.

I just don’t understand this.I know in the moment people are angry and bitter as I'm too but a bigger picture needs to be looked at to.

We have won despite a ton of injuries.
Anyone on this board would of signed up for what we had going into today.
There is still plenty this team can still accomplish that past teams haven't done.
