No it’s not. Some of us have been saying how awful it is for weeks now.

I mean vs what we thought to start the year but yes it's been apparent for weeks.

ranking will mean nothing. Championship is the only thing that matters. Big12 isn't getting 2 teams in.

This whole thing is why I need to stop paying attention to the top ten like it mattered. I spent like 20 minutes today breaking down the top 10 teams and what it was gonna take for us to move up and all that stuff….lol

We got out-coached on a crummy day - it's rough for sure, but that "undefeated" monkey is off our shoulders - ISU is still the best football team in the conference - I'm not sold on BYU - I can only hope we get to play CU in Dallas - **** K-State

Semantics but I think for most programs in a bye week, that first week is used to get back to fundamentals, heal up, etc. and then it's back to usual routine for the actual game week.

Now, that wasn't apparent on either end tonight since ISU was sloppier than the last time out.

We have an average QB. An average o-line. We have weapons but that doesn't help when the play calling is so predictable. Defensive play calling at the end of the 1st half and end of game is way too soft. Special teams not great.

These things have ALWAYS been a problem and Campbell does nothing to fix any of it.

Hufford should have been benched during the Iowa game. Or at least moved back to left guard. He SUCKS as a center.

Good things usually happen when we bring pressure on defense, yet we hardly see it.

Hufford still being a starter tells me all I need to know about our O-line, which also tells me a lot about where we're at and what to expect as a program

Be realistic about the offense in the UCF game. Despite all the yards Rocco had 20 carries and maybe 4-5 designed runs. He had a majority of his passing yards off of scrambles.

The offense has been pretty good this season, but I think there are some things teams have figured out to give us problems.

No, I wouldn’t have signed up for meaningless 7-0 if we’re going to lay a f***ing inexcusable turd in game 8.

Losing today isn’t “OK” or “fine” because 4 hours ago it was really cool to be 7-0.

Yep. Almost a 2 TD favorite at home on Homecoming. We just shrunk in the moment.

Maybe this will be the kick in the ass for a strong finish. I'm not giving up on these guys.

But it's really difficult to run off like 7 or 8 straight in football. Sooner or later you'll usually have a game like this. Oh well, time to take it out on KU.

Are we sure Rocco is it? He’s okay but that level of play against the worst secondary in the country immediately after last week’s showing…yikes.

Honestly he has not been great this year. Throws some beautiful passes at times and has a ton of confidence, but his accuracy is just not there. I'm kinda scared to see next year with Higgins and Noel being gone.

I feel like figuring out a path to a B12 title and a playoff bid is like those B12 North teams in the mid 2000s fighting for that place in the title game to lose to OU or UT by 50. While it would be nice to get a league title and playoff birth on our resume, I wouldn't expect us to put up a fight in our playoff game, would just hope we don't get embarassed.

If we had squeaked this out I probably would’ve predicted a L next week. Hopefully we come out POed wanting to prove something.
