Yeah, I've seen your dipshittted disagrees also. You have convinced me. Prohm is terrible and he missed all those shots from 3 (wide open) and threw all those balls away. I'm convinced now because you blame someone who wasn't on the floor failing in every way against a team that couldn't miss.

GFY, buddy.
You said none of the issues were his fault...and now that you've realized you sounded like an idiot for saying that you are salty...

It's cool, buddy

I wonder how much this will hurt our defensive efficiency rating on the metrics sites like KenPom, etc.

I turned it off with just under 10 minutes to go. Inexcusable to have such a bad defensive performance, especially at home. Hopefully this kind of stinker is just an outlier for the rest of the season. But damn...this one hurts.

We tend to play worse than our overall individual talent by quite a bit IMO.

Part of that is coaching, but part of that is also having guys that aren't mentally tough too. I swear that a HUGE problem with this team is many of them think they just have to show up to beat the teams they are favored to beat and don't have to be mentally sharp and give 100% effort. They think that playground ball with no defense and no ball movement on offense and taking bad shots will be enough. But a lot of that falls on Prohm too.

They looked like they were ready for the season to be over. The Hampton flu.
Hope the week off can reenergize them or what once was a promising season will end up a wet fart.

I think that's too easy of an answer to blame the lack of focus. Remember, we had a 9 point lead pretty quickly into the game. They looked pretty focused to me when we were up 13-4.

You are right and at 13-4....what happens...Jamie Dixon deliberately gets a Technical Foul and fires up his team and the rest is history ...or at least this game was history....

When there is so much on the line.....they all hurt. When there is nothing on the line(last year) four years of Mcdud...nothing hurts. I'll take the hurt.

I don't think it was intentional, not that it matters at this point.

I'm not one to complain much about coaching, unless something is so obviously blown that it's clear for everyone to see. The coaching staff has forgotten more about basketball than everyone on this forum has ever known combined. However, I got a bad feeling once they made two 3's in a row to cut it from 13-4 to 13-10, and I wonder if a timeout then would have been effective at all. It would have been a really quick timeout, but in hindsight I wonder if that would have made a difference.

I've been patient and rarely bashed Prohm. But he lost me today. No adjustments until it was way too late. More than anything tho, he can't figure out a defense to stop dribble penetration to save his life.

Dribble penetration has killed us all year IMO. I know we've held some teams to some low point totals, but teams have always been able to get to the rim at will on us it seems.

It's like we have a bunch of JorBo's out there playing defense on the perimeter.

If you are not playing well (Shayok for 3 games), sit them and give another a chance.
Shayok won the two games before today for Iowa St, he's second in the league in scoring, arguably the POY, and you want to sit him for a guy that has only seen mop up duty?

That’s sacrilege didn’t you see all the hype about his percentages? We have to many superstar guards that give us the exact same look soo that’s a no go on giving the opposing team a different look.

Lost at home by double digits to average teams? Don’t remember that I guess.

They are referring to the Baylor team that ended being a #3 seed. Doesn’t seem like an apples to apples comparison but it fits the agenda.
