These back to back games are always unpredictable. ISU will probably get the W.

I didn't until the start of Hoilball Season and saw the schedule and upgraded.
Was it Mediacom? Does anyone know if a mediacom subscriber with basic digital cable (have a box) can subscribe today and have it on before gametime tonight?

Looks like they played mostly a 7 man rotation against ASU with mostly spot minutes coming from another 2 guys. 3 guard lineup with a shooting guard and defensive minded forward rotating in off the bench.

They don't have nearly as much length at the guard position as Alabama did, so I think we see less turnovers in the transition game from ISU, and probably some better control on the glass.

Their main scoring option looks like Wells, who seems to be a slasher but doesn't shoot a ton from outside. Another starting guard, Trimble went off from 3 against ASU(MCD AA freshman, scored 31). Even with tonight's result only averaging 10 per game as a true freshman so he might be a bit of a wildcard. Their starting forward Layman is 6-9 and seems to be a solid scoring option at 14PPG.

Without watching any of their games, and completely basing my assumptions on the box score I think we will have less trouble with them than we did with Bama, but it seems like 2 of their starting guards are very skilled and have the ability to go off at any time so I could be completely wrong.

I predict a game plan to let Trimble shoot and keep anyone else from getting into the flow of scoring. One guy like him is not going to be enough to beat us.

I think we will win by a few. I would temper the "destroy the Terps" talk.. lol
They are solid. Just don't think they played to their capability last night against ASU.

Yes. I'd like steady improvement and will accept just finding a way to win in these early games. We're far from perfect right now which is completely normal and exciting actually, considering the early version ain't too shabby.
