I'm aware, but that still doesn't change the fact that he fell apart in OT and it showed. There is a lot of other things to pick at besides that, too, don't get me wrong. This one was very evident and game-changing, though. It is what it is. It was mostly luck of a half-court shot to be in that situation to begin with, but the player execution in OT did not help any.

Conditt was going to foul, he just didn't expect the guy to pull up for a 35 footer and was caught in no man's land. Look it was a bank shot, so the guy missed his shot, and got a prayer answered.

Well if it was a season where they were going to make a run this one would have hurt a lot.


But thinking this team will get eaten alive by KU;s and WV's bigs, Huggy is gonna pick and roll ISU to death.

You do not let them even that close to the basket, hell foul them in the back court if you have too. TCU was still shooting one from the line. If he makes both, they have to foul. We did them a favor by not fouling, and it costs us.

One was a bad coaching decision, but prohms was just bad coaching. He is still looking for lineups 12 games into the season guy is helpless.

8 seconds is too much time to foul. I'll take my chances on basically a half court shot. TCU got lucky, and we stink. It is what it is.

When then you are up 3, yes you foul. There wouldn't be 8 seconds left when we foul. The best they can do is hit both and then we inbound the ball. They probably foul but there would be 2-3 seconds left at most. Very high probability we hit at least one and they can't get off any type of shot.

Let's change the focus to how bad a coach Dixon is that he needed a freak banked 3 just to take what some think is the worst team in basketball history into OT? THAT guy should be fired. No excuse to need OT to beat ISU...

So when the announcers were saying foul immediately, they didn't mean it? With the way TCU was shooting 3s tonight, I certainly would have taken my chances fouling early. And I wouldn't have had any player of ours past the 3 point line defending. Prohm ****** up again.

For sure. The coach that lost to KU like that learned from it and starting the next season didn't lose like that again(I think, there's probably some random game in there I'm forgetting)

The coach that lost today hasn't shown the ability to do that yet. We're on year 5 and we're still having the same issues of year 1.

Why would you not foul right away then? Once they get to half court it's a lot easier for this exact thing to happen once they get a full head of steam running down the court.. So tell me.. Why not foul?

Box score showed 5 guys in double figures? Hit good average of FTs. Outrebounded by 1 by a more physical taller and longer team? Hit good average of 3s?

So yeah - half-dimensional REALLY seems to capture it...
