The replay is up for premium users. Someone should go check out the play in question and let me know if she threw the ball and hit Ashley with it.

The incident that drew the technical was right in front of me. It was on the player and I'll say that like a prior poster said the act wasn't too terrible the attitude she displayed after the play deserved the tech.

I just rewatched it. It appeared that she was a little after the whistle but was trying to save it off of her opponent rather than step out of bounds with it. Then both she and Bluto starting complaining about the call and then she was T'd up. There was a good 3-4 second delay between her attempting to throw the ball off of Hagedorn and drawing the whistle. It sure looked like it was due to what she said.

By the way, earlier I said Molly mentioned that the Iowa player had been complaining about the call on her previous foul and got the knock it off look from the ref - it was actually Rich who said that.

She wasn't trying to save it from out of bounds though - The foul had been called and the play was over. Then she threw the ball in frustration behind her and hit Ashley. Like I said though - it was not like she picked up the ball, turned around and found Ashley and then threw it at her. To me, it looked like she was ****** grabbed the ball and thew it behind her and Ashley just happened to be standing there.

You asked me to watch it again and tell you what I saw. I did that. I don't think she stopped on the whistle but I don't think it was T worthy. It appeared that the refs agreed and T'd her up later when she started ******** about a foul call again. That's what I saw.

It's cute you are trying to play the victim. But, you should remember there is a history feature where all of your past posts are there for the world to see

Again, good try pretending to be some sort of abused party.

What Does post history matter? I don't have a whole lot of meaningful sports insight because frankly I am a nerd, but I do find the little brother complex on this board shocking to the point of embarrassment. Fortunately it's not a an accurate reflection of the real world.

Little brother, your obsession with ISU is flattering. Good luck in your pursuit of a degree from UNI and may your hawks have a March situation.

Just because you apparently live to kiss the feet (or something else) of Blunder's, doesn't mean that rational can't see her for what she is: a *****. Doesn't matter how you look at it, she's a *****. If you want to defend someone who acts the way she does as a "professional," be my guest. But that pretty much puts you down on her level.

Right on cue.
He was, wasn't he?

Only a ******* moron could interpret discussing the actions of the last minute of a basketball game, in the actual GAME THREAD, as demonstrating any behavior analogous to "little brother syndrome". A complete idiot- or just another hawk fan with a serious case of little brother syndrome posing on a Cyclone site. So which are you?

comments like this amaze me.
You must be an OWA fan, it's already well known Frau Bluder is a classless loser when it comes to the ISU game.....She is so jealous of Bill's success and attendance records....It shows up big time. Even the WHO TV and radio guys were sayng that Frau Bluder was way out of line.

She said foul discrepancy due to ISU doing a great job of attacking the basket and Iowa didn't do a good job of taking a charge. Iowa State did a great job of sagging off ball handlers and clogging the lane.

I have heard nothing of her complaining about officiating here. She might have been different on Iowa radio - I don't know.
Didn't you hear FrAU BLUDER IN HER POST GAME RADIO INTERVIEW talk about the UNIQUE FOULS CALLED? SHE IS TOTALLY CLASSLESS..wHY DO YOU THINK ALL THE NEWSPAPER AND WHO TV/RADIO GUYS ARE SAYING SHE WAS WAY OUT OF LINE.

Somewhere in the U.S.
I just finished watching the game again. Man....what a hack fest that was! Iowa could have been called for a lot more fouls, and quite honestly there were a few missed on ISU too. I did not realize until looking at the box score and watching the game again that ISU only made 5 baskets in the 2nd half. Very strange game. The two teams played even in the 2nd half. Iowa could have won if they had stopped hacking so much. They had no discipline in that regard at all. It looked like they were not aware of any rule changes.

As far as the play with Taylor "saving" the ball. In real time, it looked to me like she was just playing past the whistle too much, and was trying to save the ball, or knock it off of ISU. I think the T came because she had demonstrated some attitude earlier on another foul, and when she did it after this play the male official T'd her up. I think the female ref would have let it slide again, because it looked like she was taking her aside to say something to her when she got T'd.

Also, I sort of wish BF had not put the starters back in. I thought what Bluder did was low class and stupid, but kind of wish BF would have handled it differently. I understand why he did it, but he could have just handled it with his comments in the presser afterwards. Bluder claiming it was practice for a game situation is pure b.s. though. The fact that she would not concede the game down by 13 with under a minute left and the other coach taking out his starters was just unprofessional. I hope any team that can do it in the Big 10 runs the score up on her.

My 2 cents.
