Yeah, no. He didn't appear to leave his feet. So I really didn't see him launching himself. He lowered his shoulder on a bang-bang play.
What were you watching? He 1000% left his feet. Take your Clone beer goggles off, bud.

I think halftimes can be extended for homecoming given all the additional stuff that gets done for thoseIs the halftime taking longer than normal? It seems like it’s been halftime for 30 minutes already.
I think the problem and what football in general is trying to stop, is DBs are taught to hit the WR hard to tackle AND dislodge the ball to cause an incompletionSo my biggest issue with that targeting call is that the only option Tampa really had then was to launch himself high to avoid that contact/call, which is the exact behavior you're trying to discourage with the rule.
You can say "slow up/don't hit him" but in that play he was moving to defend the pass, not to deliver a hit to the player, and the hit was because of the hospital ball Shapen threw. Like I get the rule is targeting and ejecting but plays like that are just frustrating to watch, because it wasn't malicious.
for the 100th time, I don't see why the NCAA dosn't adopt the Target Level 1, target Level 2 rule.
This would have clearly been Target level 2.
leave Target level 2 to 15 yard penalty and move on.
Level 1 would be leading with the crown like a missile and and making a very obvious and dangerous play. that would be the ejection rule.
Geez, give it a rest. How does someone do 100%. What a douche. What were you watching? He 1000% left his feet. Take your Clone beer goggles off, bud.
If Tampa wraps his arms around the guy. No penality?Perfect tackle? That's lazy ass tackling trying to lay someone out. Once again, learn how to correctly form tackle and its not an issue.
Nice to know you are pro spinal-cord and neck injuries. That was textbook targeting and the whole reason the rule exists.I think halftimes can be extended for homecoming given all the additional stuff that gets done for those
Yeah but the tackle comes at the head because of the ball placement. If that pass isn't low, Tampa hits him in the chest/abdomen.I think the problem and what football in general is trying to stop, is DBs are taught to hit the WR hard to tackle AND dislodge the ball to cause an incompletion
What the NFL/NCAA/game of football is trying to do is shift that behavior to, just make the tackle, don’t try to cause an incompletion.
Thank you. I just can't imagine going thru life being so negative, to your team. Zuri can't be a real ISU fan, can he?You’re ejected for the rest of the game.

Yeah. And if he aims lower. If Tampa wraps his arms around the guy. No penality?

Acceptable if it is a Rape U Player?Nice to know you are pro spinal-cord and neck injuries. That was textbook targeting and the whole reason the rule exists.

About the whole 2nd quarter. I feel it could be better, needs workshopped.Gotta ask... how long have you worked on that one
