We tend to struggle a lot coming off of bye weeks. We played a C+/B- game on the road and still won by 12 against a conference foe.

I'm still amazed at the turnaround by the o-line. Early on in the season, Ben Bruns commented on the Sunday podcast that he liked some of the things the line was trying to do. I thought he was crazy/full of B.S. but it turns out he was onto something. Clanton and the special teams coach have done wonders for this team.

Good point - two weaknesses, over the past few seasons, that have cost the Cyclones in close games.

Remember that game in 2011, Okie State had perhaps their best QB in program history, who was also like 28 or 29 at the time.
