The legacy target, whose father Marc Carlson played for Iowa State in the early 1990s, now has another option as his recruitment rapidly picks up.
“I was really excited,” Carlson said. “I’ve been really excited about all my offers. Iowa State was pretty cool because I’ve been talking to them for awhile.”

Honestly Prohm may want to just invest in a condo or cabin for the time the staff could be in the Twin Cities this year it. Could save ISU some money on lodging.

Jackson looks like a good prospect with High Major interest. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more offers in the next two weeks that had Kane/Dayton connections.
ISU has been pretty quite, relative to other programs, during this weekends contact period. I expect that to change soon with the staff now set.

"Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue and Wisconsin are his Big Ten offers. Carlson also has offers from Stanford, Creighton and Iowa State (his father’s alma mater).
In the next couple months, Carlson plans to take unofficial visits to Michigan, Iowa and Butler in August and late September. He will also try to see Nebraska, Iowa State and Creighton when his family makes road trips to see his sister, Brynn, play volleyball with Kansas State this fall. She’s a 6-4 sophomore outside hitter and former Cretin-Derham Hall standout."

Ok... the way I read this is, he will visit schools like Nebraska, Iowa St, and Creighton whenever Kansas St volleyball goes on the road to play them. For some reason I find this funny. Apparently not even giving K St a thought.
Daniyal Robinson is at Milwaukee tourney looking to keep the Wisconsin to ISU pipeline open.
"He was courtside for Milwaukee-based Phenom University 16U's game against the Illinois Wolves. Iowa State is looking at three 2020 prospects from that team: four-star point guard Reece Beekman (who's actually from Baton Rouge), four-star point guard Desmond Polk and four-star forward Jamari Sibley.
None have Iowa State offers; that will likely change soon.
