If he wants to get paid to play it isn't dumb.
We don't really know that. I think Nader, Niang and Morris all benefited from staying in college. Those guys might not be in the NBA right now if they had left early and not been drafted. Sure, they would have still gotten paid to play somewhere else, but not near the amount they are making now. I suppose some players just want to get into the G-league to make some money with the hopes of developing enough to get an NBA contract in another year or two instead of trying to develop in college while not getting paid. Wigginton might fall into this catergory. I don't think the G-league is a guarantee for him either, though.

Did the kid text back or did Alex clarify his writing?

Honestly, unless you were looking for trouble, the original was never that alarming. In fact, I correctly interpreted it above.
The kid reached out Alex, I wonder if he reads message boards :)

Kid did not want to ruin everyone's weekend or induce panic attacks. Not only great hoops player but he also is a humanitarian!

I think we were sitting really well with Nadolny until Tech made their huge NCAA Tournament run. Now what they can sell to him is huge, especially with their need at SG with Culver going pro and likely being a top ten pick.

Sucks losing him to Tech but can understand the kid picking them.

If/when Nadolny picks Tech they might not have a scholarship left for Admon Gilder

The timing of the announcement make you wonder if these are connected. I'm assuming they would of preferred Gilder to Nadolny.

Nadolny had plenty of time to finish his visit tour and announce at the end of last week. Slater, who's been keyed in on this recruitment, added the Tech crystal ball last Wednesday.

I hope I'm wrong, but it feels as if ISU is behind KSU and probably even UNLV for Grill. On the Wheeler front, Georgia has a ridiculous class coming in for 2019 (#9 overall so far). It would be a super easy sell for a young PG to come in and facilitate to those guys. Not to mention that he's a Texas kid that wouldn't have to leave the south. Wouldn't be shocked to see us miss out on all three and that's not a direct reflection on Prohm. Tough situation.
