We don't really know that. I think Nader, Niang and Morris all benefited from staying in college. Those guys might not be in the NBA right now if they had left early and not been drafted. Sure, they would have still gotten paid to play somewhere else, but not near the amount they are making now. I suppose some players just want to get into the G-league to make some money with the hopes of developing enough to get an NBA contract in another year or two instead of trying to develop in college while not getting paid. Wigginton might fall into this catergory. I don't think the G-league is a guarantee for him either, though.If he wants to get paid to play it isn't dumb.
