Someone asked earlier but I'm not sure there was ever an answer-- is there even a connection between Penny and THT?
The connection that I heard was that Penny's team played at the same tournament as THT's team at some point. Rock solid connection there.
Not sure what you guys are talking about, got an ESPN update a couple hours ago that said Penny and Memphis has agreed to terms for him to be the head coach.
Not sure how much more Memphis-coachy he could get. As of today, if anything is going on, it should be illegal.

Can't speak to the Twitter part, as I am not on it but assume you have read some rumor elsewhere. Glad to hear it has been proven as fabrication.
We beat Memphis in a bowl game and the dude is trolling our fan base by just saying our top recruit? That honestly is my best guess at this point
Yeah, obviously it caught my eye, and everywhere I've seen it, the comments trace back to one particular tweet that has been debunked as fantasy.
