Jantz was bad, but...

The OL was horrible tonight.
The play calling has been horrible all season.
The offensive scheme has been horrible not just all season, and not just under CPR's tenure, but for as long as I can remember.

Jantz was bad tonight, but I don't think another QB does any better.

He is really not good. He does have his moments, but unfortunately he has more terrible moments.

You are correct, that was bad, but it was not all him. He had absolutely zero time to do anything.

I don't understand why some continue to defend Jantz. It's like they want him to be the leader so bad that they had hyped him into coming out of JuCo. They occasionally mentioned potential. If you're still talking about potential a third of the way through your senior season - you'll still be talking about when forty.

No one is suggesting Jantz was the only player in our uniform that performed poorly tonight. People are merely suggesting that we're receiving atrocious production at the most important position in team sports, and it isn't exactly new.

He is a risk reward QB and this team doesn't need that, they need someone who will take what the defense gives up and consistently is moving the ball. I don't care if that is Barnett or Richardson, just some one who isn't as turn over prone as Jantz is.
