If Jantz has more TO's next week, then bring in Barnett. TCU can be beat, our team simply has to play better on offense starting with blocking.
I don't understand why some continue to defend Jantz. It's like they want him to be the leader so bad that they had hyped him into coming out of JuCo. They occasionally mentioned potential. If you're still talking about potential a third of the way through your senior season - you'll still be talking about when forty.
Jantz dropping the ball, then holding the ball one handed again in the next series tells me that its time to find someone better. Think Tiller could move back?
No one is suggesting Jantz was the only player in our uniform that performed poorly tonight. People are merely suggesting that we're receiving atrocious production at the most important position in team sports, and it isn't exactly new.
Jantz was bad, but...
The OL was horrible tonight.
The play calling has been horrible all season.
The offensive scheme has been horrible not just all season, and not just under CPR's tenure, but for as long as I can remember.
Jantz was bad tonight, but I don't think another QB does any better.

It's more than a QB problem. (yes I'm putting this in multiple threads)
Actually, with the title of this thread, that is exactly what is being suggested...
I think the problem is that ISU can't recruit the players to run the spread. Cyclones need to go back to basics and run what's been successful before--smash-mouth football. ISU is a Big Ten style team in the Big12: run first, stout defense. Not defending Jantz. But the problem is A LOT DEEPER than Jantz. A new QB doesn't solve a fundamental problem with this offense.
