watching this uconn-memphis game, i feel much better about the game tonight. Lots of sloppy basketball being played, most of it by 2 time national champs. glad to see with it being early in the year, were not the only team "not ready" to play at this level

We had our bad shooting night from the 3pt line last time out. They’ll be on fire tonight and cruise over Pearl’s in-fighting squad.

Iowa State 78. Paper tigers 69.
Milan needs to go off, find his inner Doncic.

If he is the NBA player we all think he is, putting up points against a very good Auburn team would help confirm this

He always gives effort and has slowly improved rebounding/defense but in terms of finding his points most games seem like he really does or really doesn't. You can tell pretty early.

USA Today article about Maui Invitational

"And while the field isn't perhaps as stacked as it has been in past years, the 2024 Maui Invitational will nonetheless still provide college basketball fans with some intriguing and high-profile matchups — with perhaps some upsets involved in the mix as well."

Yeah, having 3 teams in the top 5 is not a stacked field at all. Did E$PN write this for USA Today?

Kinda funny how everyone and their mom wrote UConn into the championship game for this tournament (and I get it - I would have done the same looking at their side of the bracket). They're gonna have to play a lot better over the next 7 minutes for that to happen.

Well Memphis is hitting 10 of 19 from 3. You shoot that percentage and you will beat most teams

I will say if any team should be prepared it would be ISU having their 4 top scorers from last year who have played in big games. The staff has been focused on Auburn all summer and I fully trust they will have a plan for Broome to overcome any lack of early season tests.
Is Broome a 5th year senior, playing his last (Covid) year?

The Covid year thing will be over after this year, correct?

Jet lag. You know, the extra hour. It was too much.
