I believe 1989 was their runner up finish. Carlesimo built them into a solid program.
It was. I was there for that Final Four.
I thought we were talking Wisconsin. My mistake.
Prior to the 90s, they were a joke anytime I noticed them, like a bottom tier program, not just low end of the top 25.
They're a much different beast now.

I don't care what the math says, 1980 was 20 years ago.The 90's was like 25 years ago. Let's just say recent history.
Agreed, Kane alone was one of the toughest dudes. The 'toughness' angle is interesting....saw some posts about how they hadn't seen that kind of thing since Larry.
I'd say ISU has been very tough in some of its wins over the years like last year at Tech, down in Lawrence etc.
Hard to believe there's a post on this thread wanting him to sit.Such a huge, immediately-eligible, three-year pickup.
Prohm is winning at the transfer game with guys like Shayok, Jacobson, Nixon, and Bolton.

Seems odd you would be on a message board so much if two crazy posts impacts you.I saw one asking for his transfer to be revoked.
There's another wanting a win Thursday vs. an NCAA tourney appearance.
I haven't been in the game threads during play the last two games and it's way more relaxing.

Sports are outlets for people to go crazy and to be fanatical. Game threads are great.

It would be more encouraging if he was decent at D, but he is a liability. Couple that with his lack of offense there are 2 freshman who play better D with the same offensive contribution.I know it hasn't been the greatest start for Zion, but I think some are hopping off the bandwagon a bit early.
