I find it kind of funny they are this worked up about losing to Iowa State. As one of the better teams in this conference since 2017 and a top 15 team this year that has won 6 straight conference road games, there’s no shame in losing to us. Like any elite team, it’s tough to beat us.

I’m saying this in jest…

To be fair, hiwever, the term “in doubt” generally refers to “the outcome of the game”, or “the winner is in doubt”, rather than “ISU wins the gane”.

I think you were both speaking in different terms.

Though, come to think about it, any lead in the fourth quarter with Jon Heacock as DC is pretty much a lock.

Makes sense.

My definition of "the game being in doubt" is when we are likely to lose. Hence why I don't think a game is in doubt when we are leading the game.

After hearing Neal Brown's comments following Saturday's game, did we break Neal Brown? He went ballistic on that defensive holding call and seems to be overreacting out of desperation. The comments at the press conference were a bad look and seems like a coach who thinks he is going to get fired.

Pat McAfee does not think Neal gets fired after this year but he did say that the fanbase is almost all the way out on him. A win this weekend is monumental though. They also have some winnable games the rest of the way.
